Steph Curry To Ink $1 Billion Lifetime Contract With Under Armour
(LOS ANGELES, CA) Sports News: NBA legend Steph Curry could become a billionaire until death, the basketball sensation is set to sign a lifetime contract with sportswear brand Under Armour that could be worth more than $1 billion, According to FCN Television.
This comes after the NBA champion first partnered with the Under Armour brand in 2013 with a deal worth $20 million a year until 2024. In 2020 Curry and Under Armour launched a Curry Brand, an apparel division targeting young consumers.
Now, the Golden State Warrior star will join the elite club by signing a lifetime sportswear contract. He follows the footsteps of NBA legend Michael Jordan and Lebron James who signed a lifetime contract deal with Nike.
Such deals don’t only happen in basketball, but in soccer too. Soccer legends Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi signed such contracts with Nike and Adidas. Ronaldo ink his deal in 2016, it is believed its worth $1 billion and Messi’s agreement was signed in 2017 however the financial details of the deal are unknown.
